Had a busy weekend...

Friday ~ After knocking off from work, I went Vivocity to watch slumdog millionaire. Lots of my friends had actually gave good feedback on this show.

Danny Boyle's latest movie, co-directed with Indian director Loveleen Tandan, Slumdong Millionaire is the story of how impoverished Indian teen Jamal Malik became a contestant on the Hindi version of "Who Wants to be A Millionaire?"

After watching this show, really find that it is not bad. The way the film the show and the delivery of message is good.

Saturday ~ Is my baking day!

I baked a triple chocolate cheese cake and also chocolate chip cookie.

The cookie taste yummy, but the chocolate cake is too sweet!


Sunday ~ Wake up early and play tennis. The sun is freaking hot.
Then, I meet Liting for lunch at a Gorhka resturant downstairs. The food taste not bad. The pics that look like chinese "guo tie" is actually Gorhka delicacy call "Momo"...such a cute name.

I read on somebody's blog about this cafe ~ Seventh Heaven.

The cafe serves very nice and special desserts, especially ice cream and chocolate cake.

Last saturday, Hwee Peng and I went in search for the cafe to try out the ice cream.

We order the Sample menu, where we can to try out 3 different types of ice cream.

The 3 flavours that who choose are Lychee Martini, Chocolate & Whiskey and Chocolate & Coffee crunch.

WAOH! The ice creams are fantastic!!! I strongly recommed all my friends to try it out.

We also ordered the warm and soft chocolate cake. It is the best chocolate cake that I have tasted so far. Even Hwee Peng also think the chocolate is fantastic....hhahahah

We ordered another Sample Menu and try out 3 more flavours. Mango & Vodka, Green Tea and Black Forest.

I had dinner at MY HUMBLE HOUSE. This is my second time there.

Same as the first time, the food there is specially designed and very different from other dining places. The restuarant ambience is fabulous too!!!

We had our teabreaker Lo-Hei. But Felicia and Jha was unable to make it. We had a great time catching up and enjoying the good food.

Here are the dishes that we ate....

步步高升，鲸龙鱼捞起 Prosperity Cobia “Yu Sheng”

合家同欢，花蟹肉海鲜清酸辣羹 Hot and Sour Flower Crab Meat Broth with Assorted Seafood

洋洋得意，甘香大虾伴时蔬 Sautéed King Prawn in Chef’s Blended Spicy Sauce,served with Seasonal Greens

大吉大利，烟味鸡扒 Seared Chicken Cutlet in Smoked Barbecued Sauce

独占花魁，双菇菠菜豆腐 Braised Spinach Beancurd topped with Duo Mushrooms

八表同登，腊味香菇生炒糯米饭 Stir-fried Glutinous Rice with Preserved Meat and Fresh Mushrooms

天长地久，香兰提拉米苏伴百香果雪冰 Pandan-flavoured Tiramisu with Passionfruit Sorbet

甜甜蜜蜜，特制煎年糕 Pan-fried Handmade “Nian Gao”

We were feeling very full before we reached our final dish. But I have to eat their dessert, even though I am already very full. Have never eaten pandan tirimisu before. Yum Yum!!!
