CHAPTER TWO
26 October 2008

Have to wake up super early to catch the early to train to Hualien. When we wake up at 6.30am in the morning, the sky look like 8am in Singapore. We were shock! Thinking that we have overslept and missed our train. But apparently not...

The quiet and peaceful streets of Ximending at 7am. And the Ximending train station that look so empty...this is how early we were...

The train ticket at Taiwan is the blue colour token...so cute.

We took the train towards Kunyang and alight at Taipei main station. Then we can change to the inter-city train to Hualient.

At Taipei main station, we bought train tickets to Hualien.

Train: Tze Chiang 1091

Time: 08:00

Platform: 4A

Seat: 1st Cabin, seat 17

Destination: Hualien

Waking up so early, we did not get breakfast. So we went to 7-11 to grab some stuff to bite. I had strawberry swissroll and coffee.

The train cabin looks quite new and clean.

After breakfast, I Zzzzzz...

We are reaching Hualien soon....

The scenary along the train ride to Hualien.

Hualien! Here we come!

On the taxi, to buy our lunchbox and sight seeing...

Further north of Hualien, 清水断崖. Its so beautiful, with the blue ocean, Pacific Ocean.

More photos...

Sunny day...

Next, we went to Taroko National Park (太鲁阁).

《燕子口》

These are the holes where the swallow stays...

A little waterfall at 燕子口.

Pretty waterfall...like a minature rainbow pool.

Lunch!!!

We stop over to have our lunch at Taroko National Park.

So relaxing...

The food is fabolous too, though they are lunch boxes.

Medidation?!?!?

Yoga?!?!

More stones!!!

We are at 九曲洞.

The gorilla look alike?

2 Waterfalls!!!

All prepared to brave the water cave...

Inside the water cave...

After a full day of trekking at Taroko National Park, we headed back to town.

The night scene of Haulien Town.

我是咖啡女神!!!

We started eating at Hualien night market. We ordered Fried Oyster, but we did not eat the Oyester.

See the before and after, all the Oysters left on the plate.

My favourite food!!! 葱油饼!

More food!!!

Our room for the nite, 玫瑰花园.

Look so pretty.

And I also get to play with fireworks at Hualien! Took a video of me lighting the firework. But the video took very long to upload. So I can't put it on the blog.

To be continued...
